Inter coach Aleksandar Kolarov has been handed a two-match suspension and fined €5,000 following the fourth round of Serie A fixtures, while several clubs have also been sanctioned by the Sports Judge.
Kolarov was punished after being sent off during Inter's 5-3 victory over Udinese on Sunday. According to the disciplinary report, the former Serbia international directed a disrespectful criticism towards the referee in the 19th minute before making a further disrespectful remark when shown the red card.
Torino coach Lucas Biglia and Atalanta coach Massimo Nenci were each given one-match suspensions for disputing refereeing decisions. Biglia was punished for openly contesting a decision in the 38th minute of the second half, while Nenci vehemently disputed a decision in the 45th minute, with the incident reported by the fourth official.
Lecce were handed the largest club fine of the round, receiving an €8,000 penalty after their supporters threw three firecrackers, three smoke bombs and two bottles onto the field during the club's 3-2 victory over Monza.
Torino were fined a further €3,000 under the principle of strict liability for unjustifiably causing an approximately two-minute delay to the start of the second half.
The Sports Judge also recorded a number of cautions following the 10 matches played between September 11 and 14.
Genoa's Johan Felipe Vasquez Ibarra received a one-match suspension after being sent off for a second yellow card, with the offences listed as protesting against match officials and unsporting conduct towards an opponent.
Lecce's Danilo Filipe De Melo Veiga and Inter's Henrikh Mkhitaryan were cautioned for protesting against match officials, while seven players, including Roma's Mario Hermoso, Juventus' Jhon Lucumi, Milan's Strahinja Pavlovic and Lazio's Mattia Zaccagni, received their second caution for unsporting conduct towards an opponent.
A further 13 players were given first cautions for unsporting conduct, including Milan's Christian Pulisic and Mario Gila, Juventus' Douglas Luiz, Roma's Niccolò Pisilli and Sassuolo's Fedde Leysen and Luca Lipani.
Fiorentina's Alieu Badara N'jie was also booked for non-regulatory conduct on the field.
