Atlético Madrid and Netflix have announced a strategic partnership to promote the upcoming film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, with the collaboration set to take centre stage during Saturday’s LaLiga match against Getafe CF at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
The agreement will see the streaming giant use Atlético’s platform and one of Europe’s most modern football venues to promote one of its major releases of 2026. The film expands the universe of the hit television series Peaky Blinders.
According to the club, the partnership reflects a shared emphasis on spectacle, passion and global reach. Atlético highlighted the enthusiasm of its supporters and the technical capabilities of the Riyadh Air Metropolitano as key factors that enabled Netflix to stage its promotional debut within Spanish football.

Several Atlético players have already participated in the campaign. Club captain Koke, alongside teammates José María Giménez, Antoine Griezmann, Alexander Sørloth, and Ademola Lookman, appeared in a short promotional film inspired by the Peaky Blinders universe. The clip has been released across both Atlético’s and Netflix’s digital platforms.
Saturday’s match will serve as the focal point of the collaboration. Supporters arriving early will find the stadium’s fan zone transformed with themed activities inspired by the Shelby family, the fictional crime gang at the centre of the series.

The spectacle will begin even before kick-off, as Atlético’s first-team players arrive at the stadium in vintage vehicles accompanied by performers portraying members of the Shelby gang. A specially produced half-time show will follow, featuring an immersive display of lights, sound and imagery drawn from the Peaky Blinders world.
The promotion will also extend to the stadium’s hospitality areas. VIP boxes 18 and 19 will be converted into a recreation of The Garrison, the iconic Birmingham pub from the series, transporting guests back to early 20th-century England.
The collaboration marks a rare crossover between elite European football and global entertainment promotion, with Atlético hoping the themed matchday experience will provide supporters with a memorable spectacle both on and off the pitch.
