The latest round of Serie A action delivered drama both on and off the pitch, with the Italian league’s Sports Judge confirming key disciplinary decisions following matchday 10 of the second half of the 2025–26 season.
On the field, Lazio secured a narrow 1-0 victory over AC Milan, while Juventus claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win away at Udinese. Elsewhere, Inter Milan were held to a 1-1 draw by Atalanta, and AS Roma suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat at Como.

However, it was the fallout from that Como-Roma clash that dominated proceedings off the pitch. Roma had lodged an appeal citing mistaken identity over a yellow card issued to Wesley in the second half. After reviewing video footage and consulting both referee Davide Massa and VAR official Michael Fabbri, the Sports Judge ruled that the conditions for overturning the decision were not met, rejecting the club’s claim.
Disciplinary action was handed down across the league. Pisa striker Rafiu Durosinmi received a two-match suspension for violent conduct, while Roma’s Wesley and Cagliari’s Adam Obert were each banned for one game following dismissals. Parma captain Enrico Delprato was also suspended and fined €1,500 for protesting against match officials.

At managerial level, Cristian Chivu of Inter and Maurizio Sarri of Lazio were both handed one-match touchline bans after being sent off during their respective fixtures.
The Sports Judge also addressed crowd behaviour, noting the use of pyrotechnics by supporters from multiple clubs including Bologna FC, Genoa CFC, and SSC Napoli. Despite violations, no sanctions were imposed due to mitigating circumstances. Torino FC, however, were fined €3,000 for causing a delay to kick-off.
As the campaign moves into its decisive stretch, both on-field results and disciplinary decisions are set to play a crucial role in determining the battle for European qualification and the fight against relegation in Italy’s top flight.
