Liverpool have issued the latest update on injuries, suspensions and squad availability as Arne Slot’s side prepare for upcoming fixtures, including Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker remains a doubt after missing the recent Champions League trip to Galatasaray due to what Slot described as a minor muscular issue. The Brazilian felt discomfort while passing the ball in training, though the problem is not expected to keep him sidelined for long. Slot indicated the club hope he will be available for the visit of Tottenham, but if not, he is expected to return in time for the next meeting with Galatasaray.
Liverpool also confirmed that Federico Chiesa is likely to be available after missing the trip to Turkey due to illness. The winger did not travel but has begun to feel better and is expected to return to training ahead of the weekend.
Several players, however, remain out with longer-term injuries. Midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has yet to feature during the 2025–26 season as he continues his recovery from a prolonged injury layoff. Slot said the youngster has repeatedly come close to rejoining team training but has suffered minor setbacks, meaning the club are managing expectations as he works his way back after many months out.

Defender Conor Bradley will miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a significant knee injury against Arsenal in January. The right-back underwent surgery shortly after the injury and has begun his rehabilitation.
Midfielder Wataru Endo also faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a foot injury during Liverpool’s victory at Sunderland in February. Slot confirmed the Japan international is expected to be out “for a long time,” though no specific timeframe has been set.
Forward Alexander Isak continues his recovery from ankle surgery following a fibula fracture sustained in December while scoring against Tottenham. Slot suggested the striker could return to training around the March international break, though he warned it may take time for him to regain full match fitness after months out.
Meanwhile, defender Giovanni Leoni will not feature again this season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament during his debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup last September. The young centre-back faces a lengthy recovery after the serious knee injury.
Liverpool also confirmed that there are currently no suspensions affecting the squad.
