Fenerbahçe S.K. has identified and sanctioned five supporters who allegedly directed abusive remarks toward players following the club’s recent match against Kasımpaşa S.K., the club confirmed in an official statement.
The incident occurred after the game on 23 February 2026 at Fenerbahçe’s home stadium, when players were making their way to the dressing room. According to the club, several individuals positioned on the stairway of the Fenerium Lower D Block shouted insulting comments at members of the squad as they passed.
Following a review of stadium security camera footage, club officials were able to identify five people involved in the incident. An internal investigation also determined that some of the individuals had entered the area despite holding tickets assigned to different sections of the stadium.

Fenerbahçe stated that legal proceedings have been initiated against those responsible. In addition, disciplinary measures have been imposed by the club. Beginning with the upcoming match against Samsunspor, the five identified individuals will be barred from purchasing tickets for the remainder of the season. Any supporters among them who hold season tickets will have their passes revoked with immediate effect.
The club emphasized that it will continue to monitor the matter closely and reiterated its commitment to maintaining respectful behavior inside the stadium.
In its statement, Fenerbahçe stressed that abusive conduct directed at players or staff will not be tolerated and warned that similar actions in the future will be met with strict consequences.
