UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) has handed down a series of sanctions to Fenerbahçe SK following crowd disturbances during their UEFA Europa League fixture against Nottingham Forest on February 26.
The match, played at the City Ground, ended in a 2–1 victory for the Turkish side, but was overshadowed by incidents involving away supporters. UEFA confirmed that Fenerbahçe has been fined a total of €50,500 for multiple offences, including the lighting and throwing of fireworks and acts of damage inside the stadium.

As part of the disciplinary measures, the club has been fined €30,000 and banned from selling tickets to away supporters for its next UEFA competition match due to the use of fireworks. An additional €20,500 fine was imposed for damage caused during the fixture.
UEFA has also ordered Fenerbahçe to enter negotiations with Nottingham Forest within 30 days to compensate the English club for damage to seating attributed to its supporters.
The sanctions come as part of UEFA’s continued efforts to clamp down on fan misconduct and ensure safety and order at European fixtures.
