Sydney FC have confirmed the departure of head coach Ufuk Talay after the club and the manager reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
Talay leaves the Sky Blues after nearly two and a half years in charge, bringing an end to a tenure marked by his leadership of the first team during a transitional period for the club.
The club has moved quickly to appoint a replacement, with A-League Championship-winning coach Patrick Kisnorbo taking over for the remainder of the 2025–26 A-League Men season.
