As Ligue 1 heads into another pivotal weekend, several clubs will be forced to reshuffle their plans due to suspensions and injuries sidelining key players across the division.
From title contenders to relegation battlers, absentees could significantly influence the outcome of Matchday 22.
Rennes enter their home clash with PSG in transition following the departure of Habib Beye, but they will also be without several squad members. Jacquet and Aït Boudlal are ruled out, while Frankowski and Kamara are also unavailable. Zabiri remains out of the squad selection, limiting options in both defence and midfield.
PSG, meanwhile, regain Achraf Hakimi from suspension, but they are still missing Mayulu and Fabian Ruiz, both unavailable. Their absences could force tactical tweaks in midfield, potentially reshaping Luis Enrique’s balance in the centre of the park.
Monaco’s squad continues to feel the strain of long-term absentees. Paul Pogba, Takumi Minamino and Salisu remain sidelined, while Mawissa is also unavailable. Although Ansu Fati has returned, Adi Hütter must still manage without several experienced figures.
Nantes are close to full strength, but Guilbert is not yet fully fit and remains short of match condition, leaving some uncertainty in defence.

Marseille must cope without Leonardo Balerdi, who is sidelined with an ear issue. Although Nayef Aguerd is expected to return from adductor problems, defensive stability could still be tested.
Strasbourg are definitely without Ismaël Doukouré due to suspension, forcing changes at the back. The reshuffle may see Omobamidele step in, but the absence disrupts Patrick Vieira’s defensive plans.
Lille are among the hardest hit this weekend. Both Aïssa Mandi and Nathan Ngoy are suspended, depriving Bruno Genesio of his preferred central defensive partnership. The enforced changes at the back could prove decisive against Brest.
The visitors also have suspension concerns, with K. Doumbia ruled out. In defence, Soumaïla Coulibaly remains sidelined with a thigh injury, while Locko and M. Baldé are also unavailable.
Paris FC remain without Hamed Junior Traoré, though they are boosted by the returns of Lees-Melou and De Smet.
Lens face deeper defensive issues. Ruben Aguilar is suspended, while Baidoo and Antonio are ruled out through injury, leaving Franck Haise with limited options at the back.
Le Havre are still without Seko, continuing a run of matches without one of their midfield anchors.
Toulouse have concerns of their own, with Magri yet to feature for nearly a month, leaving attacking depth slightly stretched heading into Sunday’s fixture.
Lorient are monitoring the potential return of I. Silva, but attacking options may need rotation as they assess squad fitness.
Angers are sweating on the fitness of captain Belkebla, who missed last weekend with an ankle issue. Peter and Mouton are also doubts, leaving uncertainty in midfield.

Metz remain without Gbamin due to suspension, while Stambouli is sidelined with a rib fracture and B. Traoré is absent with a knee injury.
Auxerre will be missing Namaso through suspension, while El Azzouzi and Sierralta are still out, limiting Christophe Pélissier’s defensive and attacking rotations.
Lyon will be without Endrick due to suspension, while Nicolas Tagliafico remains out injured and A. Moreira has joined the treatment room. Though Tolisso has returned to training, Lyon’s depth will still be tested.
Nice approach the fixture with selection uncertainty, but no confirmed suspensions, as they weigh midfield combinations around Sanson and Ndombélé.
With suspensions mounting and injury lists lengthening, Matchday 22 could hinge not only on who starts, but on who is forced to watch from the stands.
