Stoke City and Hull City have both been fined after an independent Regulatory Commission ruled on a mass confrontation that followed their EFL Championship clash last month.
The incident occurred after the final whistle of the match between the two sides on Saturday 29 November, when players from both teams became involved in a heated exchange on the pitch.
Following an investigation, it was alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players did not behave in an improper and/or provocative manner after the conclusion of the game. Stoke City and Hull City each admitted the charge.

After a hearing, the Regulatory Commission handed down financial penalties to both clubs, fining Stoke City £25,000. Hull City were issued with a larger £50,000 fine in relation to the same incident.
The sanctions underline the authorities’ stance on maintaining discipline and order at the conclusion of matches, with clubs expected to take responsibility for the conduct of their players.
