The Italian Football League has released its Official Communication following the completion of the 17th matchday of the 2025–26 Serie A Enilive season, played across 27–29 December.
Inter edged Atalanta 1–0 away, while Juventus secured a 2–0 victory at Pisa. Napoli continued their strong form with a 2–0 win at Cremonese, Roma defeated Genoa 3–1 at home, and Milan recorded a convincing 3–0 success against Hellas Verona. Elsewhere, Fiorentina were beaten 1–0 at Parma, Como impressed with a 3–0 win at Lecce, Cagliari defeated Torino 2–1, and Bologna and Sassuolo, as well as Udinese and Lazio, both shared the points with 1–1 draws.
Alongside the results, the Sports Judge, Dr Gerardo Mastrandrea, issued a series of disciplinary rulings. Milan were fined €10,000 for delaying kick-off by approximately four minutes, with the sanction increased due to repeated offences. Lecce (€8,000), Lazio (€7,000), Fiorentina (€5,000), Bologna (€2,000) and Atalanta (€1,500) were also fined for their supporters’ conduct involving the throwing of pyrotechnics or objects during matches.

On the sporting side, Como defender Diego Carlos Santos Silva received a one-match suspension for unsporting behaviour, his fifth booking of the season. Several players were cautioned for dissent towards match officials, including Napoli’s Juan Jesus and Udinese’s Nicolò Zaniolo, while numerous others across the league received warnings for unsporting or irregular conduct.
Among coaches, Lecce head coach Eusebio Di Francesco was handed a two-match touchline ban after being sent off for strongly insulting the referee and continuing his protest, as reported by the fourth official. Cagliari assistant Fabio Pisacane was also cautioned.
All fines will be charged to the clubs’ Serie A accounts, with the decisions officially published in Milan on 30 December 2025.
