Paris Saint-Germain have been fined €148,000 by UEFA for a series of fan-related offenses during the club’s landmark 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final in May, marking their first-ever European title.
The match, held at Munich’s Allianz Arena, descended into chaos after the final whistle when jubilant PSG supporters stormed the pitch. UEFA’s disciplinary report listed several violations, including the invasion of the field, use of pyrotechnics, object throwing, damage to stadium property, and the display of inappropriate messages.

The most substantial portion of the fine, €100,000, was levied for the pitch invasion and fireworks, while additional penalties were imposed for damage and offensive messaging, such as a banner reading “UEFA Mafia” accompanied by an image of a pig.
The offensive message drew a separate €10,000 fine. According to UEFA, the display constituted “transmitting message that is not fit for a sports event” and “bringing UEFA into disrepute.”
Supporters were also seen tearing up chunks of turf as souvenirs, further prompting disciplinary action.

An €8,000 fine was added for damage-related acts, and UEFA issued a one-match suspension on PSG’s ability to sell away tickets for European fixtures. However, that ban is suspended for two years and will only take effect if similar behavior recurs.
Despite the fines, PSG’s historic triumph also brought significant financial reward, with the French champions reportedly earning around €140 million in UEFA prize money for their successful campaign.
