Liverpool are contending with a growing list of injury concerns following their recent Premier League defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, with several key players unavailable heading into the international break.
Manager Arne Slot confirmed that first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker will miss Brazil’s upcoming fixtures and remains sidelined for the immediate future. The Brazilian was absent for the loss at Brighton, with his return date still uncertain.
The Reds have also been dealt a significant blow in attack, with Mohamed Salah ruled out after sustaining a muscle injury in the UEFA Champions League victory over Galatasaray on March 18. While the club is hopeful the Egyptian could return quickly after the international break, he was unavailable for the Brighton clash and will not join up with his national team.
In defence, Conor Bradley has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury suffered against Arsenal in January. Meanwhile, young defender Giovanni Leoni is also set for a lengthy absence, with an anterior cruciate ligament injury expected to keep him out for the rest of the campaign.
Midfielder Wataru Endo faces an extended spell on the sidelines after suffering a foot injury in February, with Slot admitting the timeline for his return remains unclear.

There is slightly more encouraging news elsewhere. Forward Hugo Ekitike, who was forced off early against Brighton, is expected to be fit soon after sustaining only a minor knock. Similarly, Federico Chiesa featured as a substitute in that match but withdrew from Italy duty as a precaution following assessment.
Striker Alexander Isak is continuing his recovery from ankle surgery sustained in December and is edging closer to a return, though he is not yet training fully with the squad.
Elsewhere, Stefan Bajcetic remains unavailable, having yet to feature this season due to a long-term injury that has been hampered by repeated setbacks.
Despite the lengthy injury list, Liverpool have no players currently suspended, offering Slot at least some stability in squad selection once players begin to return.
With crucial fixtures ahead after the international break, Liverpool will be hoping several of their sidelined stars, particularly Salah and Alisson, can make swift recoveries to boost their campaign.
