Leeds United’s 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday sparked ugly scenes at Elland Road as manager Daniel Farke was confronted by an angry supporter who entered the pitch and moved towards the dugout. Stewards quickly removed the 61-year-old, who was later arrested, according to the BBC.
Leeds had taken an early lead through Lukas Nmecha, but a second-half double from Morgan Rogers condemned them to a third straight loss and dropped them into the relegation zone with 11 points from 12 games.
Farke insisted he did not witness the fan incident. “I didn’t see it,” he said, before acknowledging supporters’ emotions: “Everyone is disappointed… They should be angry and disappointed. I feel exactly the same… I totally understand this.”

The German defended his team's display despite the result. “Performance-wise, we've turned back to what we want to be… We dominated many periods… At the moment we are in a period where things are going against us.”
He also dismissed concerns over his job security. “Believe me… you have pressure… If you can’t handle the heat, don't become a manager of Leeds United”
Amid criticism of some players, Farke stood by Brenden Aaronson, saying: “Is it really like how we want to treat human beings in our society? … I don't like it.”
