FC Barcelona has outlined an extensive set of security and crowd-management measures ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League group-stage match against Eintracht Frankfurt at the Spotify Camp Nou, a fixture deemed high risk by Spain’s Anti-Violence Commission.
The club confirmed that it will apply its full “security and control protocol of the rival fans”, tightening oversight of ticket sales, entry checks and the movement of visiting supporters in and around the stadium. Barcelona says the aim is to guarantee the safety of all members, home fans and travelling supporters.
A strong appeal has been issued to Eintracht Frankfurt fans who do not have an officially assigned ticket through their own club, urging them not to travel to the Camp Nou. There will be no ticket sales at the stadium on matchday, and only those with seats in the allocated away section will be granted access. To prevent unauthorised entry, all tickets are nominal and must match the holder’s identification documents, while purchases from Germany have been blocked through IP and bank-card filters. Ticket sales on the club website carried warnings that they were restricted to FC Barcelona members, and tour operators have had their allocations limited. Supporters wearing Eintracht colours or identifiers will not be permitted outside the visiting section, and away fans will be directed exclusively through Access K.

Barcelona is also calling on all spectators to arrive early and have their documentation ready, as security will be reinforced at every entrance. The club says it will increase the number of personnel stationed throughout the stands to handle incidents and, if necessary, expel spectators who violate the rules. Nominal and visual checks will be carried out for anyone displaying Eintracht Frankfurt symbols to identify potential cases of illegally obtained tickets. The measures are being carried out in coordination with Eintracht Frankfurt, the Guardia Urbana and the Mossos d’Esquadra, who will work together to deter resale and prevent the entry of unauthorised away fans. Ticket-sale data is also being analysed daily to detect patterns of possible fraud.
Barcelona has reiterated that any proven instance of fraudulent ticket acquisition or resale will be referred to the club’s Disciplinary Committee, which may take action against those responsible. The club emphasises that all measures are designed to protect supporters and ensure the match proceeds in a secure and controlled environment.
