Serie A’s Sports Judge has confirmed a series of disciplinary decisions following the latest round of fixtures played between April 24 and 27, with fines handed to multiple clubs and suspensions issued to several players and coaches.
The matchday itself produced a range of results across the league, with Roma securing a 2–0 win over Bologna, Napoli thrashing Cremonese 4–0, and Lazio and Udinese playing out a dramatic 3–3 draw. Elsewhere, Milan and Juventus shared the points in a goalless stalemate, while Inter were held to a 2–2 draw by Torino.

Off the pitch, disciplinary matters took centre stage. The Sports Judge noted that supporters from several clubs, including Atalanta, Inter, Juventus, Milan and Roma, used pyrotechnic devices such as flares and smoke bombs during matches. However, no direct sanctions were imposed on those clubs due to mitigating circumstances outlined in league regulations.
Despite this, Bologna and Genoa were both fined for incidents involving their supporters throwing smoke bombs onto the pitch, receiving penalties of €3,000 and €2,000 respectively. Udinese were also fined €3,000 after being held responsible for a two-minute delay to the start of the second half in their fixture.
On the sporting side, three players, Matteo Cancellieri (Lazio), Neil El Aynaoui (Roma) and Nicolas Valentini (Hellas Verona), have each been handed one-match suspensions after reaching the disciplinary threshold following bookings for unsporting conduct.

Lazio’s Patricio Gabarrón Gil was additionally fined €1,500 and cautioned for protesting against match officials, with the punishment increased due to his role as team captain. Several other players across the league received yellow cards, contributing to their cumulative disciplinary records.
Coaching staff were also affected. Pisa’s Javier Agenjo Duran, Cagliari’s Giacomo Murelli and Atalanta’s Federico Peluso have all been suspended for one match after being sent off for dissent and confrontations on the touchline. Torino head coach Roberto D’Aversa received a caution.
The latest rulings underline Serie A’s continued efforts to clamp down on misconduct both on and off the pitch, as the season enters its decisive final stages.
