The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has handed down fines and suspensions following Serie A’s 12th matchday return round, highlighting both supporter misconduct and on-field disciplinary issues.
Club Penalties
Milan was fined €25,000 after causing delays at kickoff and during the second half of their match, marking a repeated offense. Lecce’s supporters drew a €10,000 penalty for throwing a firecracker and multiple smoke bombs onto the pitch.
Inter was fined €5,000 after fans directed insulting chants at the opposing team’s coach. Napoli, Udinese, and Cremonese also faced smaller fines for minor delays or supporter incidents.

Despite widespread use of pyrotechnics by supporters of Cremonese, Hellas Verona, Lecce, and Pisa, the FIGC chose not to impose additional sanctions on the clubs.
Player Discipline
Several players also faced suspensions or cautions. Youssef Maleh of Cremonese received a two-match ban, a €5,000 fine, and a caution for striking an opponent with the ball. Lewis Ferguson (Bologna), Albert Guðmundsson (Fiorentina), and Tomas Suslov (Hellas Verona) were each handed one-match suspensions for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Numerous other players, including Weston McKennie (Juventus), Nicolò Fagioli (Fiorentina), and Matteo Politano (Napoli), received cautions for protests against referees or misconduct toward opponents. All fines will be charged to the clubs’ LNPA championship accounts.
