Newcastle United has issued detailed guidance for supporters travelling to Paris for the UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, 28th January. The match kicks off at 9:00pm local time (8:00pm UK time), with stadium turnstiles opening from 6:00pm.
Safety Advisory
Fans are strongly advised to avoid the Auteuil suburb and remain vigilant against street crime, including pickpocketing. The club emphasizes that supporters should take sensible precautions and ensure they have valid travel insurance for the trip.
Getting to the Parc des Princes
The club recommends that fans arrive at the stadium at least one hour before kick-off. Metro line 9 is the preferred route, with supporters advised to disembark at the 'Porte de Saint-Cloud' station and follow a five-minute walk along 'Route de la Reina' to reach the away section entrance. Fans are cautioned against using Metro line 10, which exits in Auteuil. Travel costs are not included in ticket prices.
Supporters travelling by taxi should be dropped off on 'Route de la Reina'. The club notes that no standard parking is available at the stadium.

Entry Procedures
Ticket holders in the away section will enter via 'Route de la Reina', passing through a soft ticket check and a security screening. A body search will be conducted by Paris Saint-Germain stewards, with a potential second search by local police. Wristbands will be issued to fans in the lower section to ensure access, and movement between tiers will not be permitted. Large netting surrounds the away section, and entry is via stairs. Fans with accessibility needs are urged to contact Newcastle’s disability support team in advance.
Stadium Regulations
The club has highlighted the Parc des Princes’ list of prohibited items, including large flagpoles, glass or plastic bottles, cans, knives, vuvuzelas, laser pointers, long umbrellas, pyrotechnics, weapons, drugs, and animals. Bags larger than A4 are not permitted and will be searched, with no storage available at the stadium. Flags and banners under 1.20 meters are allowed and will be checked at entry.
Two kiosks within the away section will serve supporters with food and drinks, accepting both cash and card payments.
Post-Match Procedures
After the final whistle, supporters will be held in the away section for a minimum of 30 minutes to facilitate a safe exit, with toilet and concession facilities available during this time. Fans are encouraged to remain in their seats unless accessing these amenities.
Newcastle United has stressed that these measures are in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all travelling supporters.
