Liverpool have been hit by a growing list of injury concerns as the Premier League season continues, with several first-team players facing spells on the sidelines and one ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
The most serious blow comes in the form of Conor Bradley, who will miss the rest of the season after suffering a significant knee injury during the clash with Arsenal on January 8. The Northern Ireland international underwent surgery on January 11 and has since begun rehabilitation. Head coach Arne Slot confirmed the extent of the setback earlier this month, while Bradley has vowed to return stronger following the operation.
Federico Chiesa is also unavailable after picking up an injury in training on the eve of Liverpool’s Champions League victory over Marseille on January 21. The winger has missed the Reds’ last two matches as a result, with no clear return date yet established.
Jayden Danns remains sidelined and is not currently training as he continues his recovery from a previous fitness issue. Slot revealed earlier in January that the young forward is dealing with a stress fracture and will not be available in the short term, describing the injury as a consequence of overtraining at a young age.

Defensive concerns have been compounded by Joe Gomez’s injury during the Premier League defeat at AFC Bournemouth. The centre-back was forced off in the first half after a collision with goalkeeper Alisson Becker, with Slot explaining that Gomez was unable to continue due to a painful knee impact. The Liverpool boss admitted it was too early to determine how long the defender would be out.
Meanwhile, Alexander Isak is facing a prolonged absence after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury that included a fibula fracture. The striker sustained the injury on December 22, just two days after scoring against Tottenham Hotspur. Slot confirmed the setback would keep Isak sidelined for a couple of months but remains confident the forward will return before the end of the 2025–26 season.
Young defender Giovanni Leoni is also a long-term absentee after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament during his debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup back in September. The injury is expected to rule him out for the entirety of the current campaign.
On a more positive note for Liverpool, there are no suspension issues to contend with at present, with no players currently banned. However, Slot will be tasked with navigating a demanding run of fixtures as his squad continues to battle a mounting injury list.
