Juventus recorded an emphatic 3–0 victory over Napoli as Serie A Enilive completed the third matchday of the second half of the 2025/26 season, a round marked by high-scoring games and a series of disciplinary decisions announced by the league’s Sports Judge.
The fixtures, played between 23 and 26 January, produced several one-sided results. Como stunned Torino with a 6–0 rout, while Inter also impressed in a 6–2 win over Pisa. Atalanta cruised past Parma 4–0, and Genoa edged Bologna 3–2 in a closely contested encounter. Elsewhere, Fiorentina fell 2–1 at home to Cagliari, Roma and Milan shared a 1–1 draw, and Lecce held Lazio to a goalless stalemate.
Following the round of matches, Serie A Sports Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea issued multiple disciplinary rulings, including fines for clubs, suspensions for players and officials, and formal cautions.

Genoa received the heaviest penalty, a €20,000 fine, after supporters threw objects at opposing players and spat at the fourth official during their match. Lecce and Milan were each fined €15,000, with Lecce sanctioned for laser use and pyrotechnics thrown onto the pitch, while Milan were penalised for causing a two-minute delay to kick-off under strict liability rules.
Lazio were fined €5,000 for pyrotechnics thrown by supporters, while Atalanta, Hellas Verona and Roma each received €2,000 fines for crowd-related incidents. In several cases, sanctions were reduced due to mitigating circumstances recognised under the Italian FA’s disciplinary code.
Bologna goalkeeper Łukasz Skorupski was suspended for one match after being sent off for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity. Tommaso Barbieri of Cremonese and Arturo Calabresi of Pisa were also handed one-match bans due to accumulated yellow cards.
A long list of players received cautions, including Inter midfielder Nicolò Barella, who was issued a warning after his fourth booking of the season, and Milan players Adrien Rabiot and Zachary Athekame, both placed under caution with a formal warning. Several high-profile names, including Luka Modrić, Lautaro Martínez and Gianluca Scamacca, were also booked during the round.

Pisa head coach Alberto Gilardino was suspended for one match after receiving his fifth caution of the season. Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori was fined €15,000 for entering the pitch after full time and directing severely offensive language at the match officials.
All fines will be charged directly to the clubs’ Serie A championship accounts. The disciplinary measures are subject to further review pending the receipt of complete official match reports.
